Penn State Berks Elementary Education Program
The Elementary and Kindergarten Education degree and teacher certification program at Penn State Berks strives to prepare thoughtful, knowledgeable life long learners who have extensive experience within schools and who understand the inherent richness of the educational endeavor. Students are taught the complexities of learning, child development, and sound pedagogical principles as well as a grounding in content knowledge. Our goal is to prepare graduates who are committed to supporting just, engaging, and successful communities of diverse learners.
